Finding Venture Capital Funding

Friday June 6, 2008

If you are in the process of starting an innovative, high-tech company, you may be searching for venture capital funding. Venture capitalists typically fund only certain types of businesses, because they want a quick, large profit for their investment. For example, a small restaurant or professional office would not be a good candidate for obtaining venture capital, but if you have an invention or innovative product or process you think you might be able to turn into a public company, a venture capitalist might be willing to talk with you.

The Inventors Guide Site has lots of resources for you to check, including lists of venture capital firms.

In addition, SCORE has an article on "Secrets to Unlocking Venture Capital Funds."
