A Reminder: Political Expenses are Not Deductible

If you are considering making a contribution on behalf of your business to a political candidate this election season, you should be aware that the IRS does not consider political contributions or expenses related to political events and activities to be deductible business expenses. IRS Publication 535 has more information on this subject.
