Small Business Plan Pre-paid LegalMy Review
I used the small business plan and with that I got a membership to Go Small Bizz. The services I receive are worth a lot more than the $75 a month.
I was going to cancel till a representative showed me how to use all the services. I have an auto-body shop with 15 loyal employees I have had the usual threats of law suits in the last year a former customer even filed suit against my shop for a problem with the car that had nothing to do with the work we did. The amount was 10,000 dollars to high for small claims court. I did call an old attorney I have used in the past, he did not charge me for consultation, but if he was to take the case I would have to pay $5,000 retainer.
I proceeded to call the phone # for pre-paid legal and an attorney called me back the next morning. I explained the situation and he asked that I fax him a copy of the court papers. That afternoon he called me back and said this an open and shut case and I had nothing to worry about. He contacted the other party's attorney and explained that I had 75 hours of his time already paid for and that I am prepared to take this on. After a couple days my prepaid attorney called and said the case has been dropped. He said most of the time when they find out defendants are members of this company they generally drop the suit for fear of losing and having to pay the cost.
It is peace of mind knowing that I have legal consul just a phone call away.
Since that time I have had them write three letters on my behalf, two of which I received satisfaction and the third one is still pending.
I can't imagine running my business again without this program.
I have also had a representative come in and do a presentation to my employees and 12 of the 15 became members of the family plan as well and at a discount.
