This calendar shows the monthly deposit date for payroll taxes. If you have a large payroll, you should make payroll tax deposits according to the semiweekly deposit rule; these dates are not shown on this calendar. 1. March 15 - Deposit Payroll Taxes for February (If You Deposit Monthly)
If your payroll tax liability for the "look back period" (the last 12 months ending June 30) was less than $50,000, you must make payroll tax deposits monthly. If you file monthly, deposit payroll taxes for February by March 15.
2. March 15 - Corporations Must File Form 1120 Corporate Income Tax Return
If your corporation has a calendar year-end, your corporate income tax return is due on March 15. You may also file an automatic extension on Form 7004
.
3. March 15 - S Corporation Must File Form 1120S Income Tax Return
If your s corporation has a calendar year-end, your corporate income tax return is due on March 15. You may also file an automatic extension on Form 7004
4. March 15 - Large Partnerships Must Provide Schedule K-1 to Partners
This item relates only to electing large partnerships (those with 100 or more partners).
5. March 31 - File Form 2290, Pay Tax for Heavy Vehicles Purchased in February
If you purchased a heavy vehicle (gross taxable weight 55,000 pounds or more)in February, you must file Form 2290 and pay the annual tax on this vehicle by the end of March.
