The Small Business Administration has announced a new website with information for small businesses considering Health Savings Accounts for their employees. The site also includes a link to an online briefing (PowerPoint and audio) providing an overview of the provisions and eligibility requirements of HSA's.

Although these accounts are only a few years old, they have become very popular with small businesses, because they provide a way for businesses to offer health benefits to employees at an affordable cost. With the ever-increasing cost of health insurance in the U.S., more and more companies, especially small businesses, are going to be considering HSA's.

Take a few minutes and check out the website and the online briefing and check with your financial advisor and benefits advisor about the possibility of adding an HSA for your employees.
