New Legislation Proposed on Business Cell Phone Use

Tuesday March 4, 2008

The House and Senate have both proposed legislation to simplify tax treatment of cell phone use for businesses, according to RCRWireless News.

The legislation would eliminate the requirement for businesses to keep detailed logs of cell phone use to show that the phones are being used primarily for business purposes. Since many businesses rely on cell phones, this proposed legislation makes a lot of sense. I will keep you up to date as I hear more on the progress of this legislation.
